Well, after about an hour or two of fighting to get the broken links out of the lower control arms, I finally replaced them and took the Ex for a ride. Now, I don't know if it's due to the old end links being broken (for God knows how long), and the front end being able to move somewhat freely, but before...the steering wheel was very easy to turn! Now, after replacing the links, it turns smooth for like 1/4 turn, then seems a bit tough and somewhat jumpy. Almost like the feeling of the power steering pump going. Could the sway bar being re-connected have anything to do with that?

Thanks in advance!

Did you turn the steering while the tires were off the ground replacing the end links? If so, probably air in the P/S system.

Air should purge out with normal driving. While moving slow, turn the steering wheel lock to lock to speed up the process.

Actually yeah, but with the key turned to accessory, not starting it up. Had the ex on jack stands, both wheels off. Turned full lock each way to access the end links. Put the wheels back on and gave it a test...just around the block.

Definitely air in the system if the engine wasn't running. Did you use the new Moog polyurethane end links? (K700542)

Again, thank you swshawaii!
