Any recommendations on a steering stabilizer? info such as brand and ease of install -preferably one where I don't have to drill.

Thanks!

I've heard Rancho's kit does not fit well. I think you have to drill mounting holes with anyones kit.

The Heckerthorn Heavy Duty Steering Stabilizer unit from the JC Whitney catalog does not require any drilling at all.

I run a Rough Country steering stabilizer and the install on it was a breeze. Rough Country is made by Heckethorn, so the JC Whitney kit, I would assume, would be the exact same(different stickers of course Dead Link Removed).
With this kit, no holes to drill and just two brackets to install. It was a very simple kit. Have I stressed that this was easy yet Dead Link Removed.
Anyway, hope this helps a little.

I had the Rancho and it worked very well. It completely corrected the steering vibs when I went to 31s, then 32s. I don't remember having to drill anything. I went to Superunner steering with my 33s so my Rancho is somewhere??? in my parts in my garage??? You want it, cheap if not even cheaper? All it does in my garage is stabilize dust.

i used the rancho . i wasn't impressed by the fit but there was no drilling ! i must admit i didn't notice a difference at all after i put it on !

j, if you want to get rid of your steering stabilizer let me know a price and how to get it from you. e-mail me at richard.parker@mindspring.com
like to have one and if your not using yours theres no sense in wasting it.
