need some help.....after thinking i busted my water pump, it turned out to be the tensioner, so i replaced it and the belt.

now i have this strange vibration when i am cornering and hit the smallest bump. the wheel just shakes like crazy.

could i have broken the knuckle or the bearings when the tensioner let go and i had no power steering? i gotta fix this, it feels like something is about to snap.

if you lost the belt, its possible that the pump pumped out all the fluid... in a straight line it wont matter, but in turns would feel like what you are describing......

i looked at the fluid level in the reservoir, and its full.

would that still show full if it pumped out?

it just doesn't feel like a pump problem

just got some info. that would indicate you are right.

apparently, when the tensioner broke and i had no power steering, some air got into the line. it's supposed to go away after a day or so. thanks for the response.
