The volume down button stopped working. At first the volume up was problematic sometimes but would work if I pressed hard enough. Now it works fine, but the volume down just won't work at all.

Does anyone have info on how to replace these controls?

This is for the steering wheel audio controls.

I'm not going to be much help, but it should be one of three things. The switch, the radio, or the clockspring. I would lean towards the switch or the clockspring...in that order. This is a factory radio, right?

The clockspring was replaced last year.

It may have been after that the controls started acting up.

This is an aftermarket radio'recently hooked up to a PAC control interface.

I actually forgot the controls were acting up because the weren't in use for a long time.

I'm thinking and hoping it is just the switch. If so I need to know if they are replaceable and how.

Thanks for your time.

Then the first thing I would do is first check to see if there is a signal from the switch to the PAC box. If so, then reprogram the PAC interface and see if that's the problem. I would have to get the service manual out to check and see how to test for switch output.

Yes, ok. Actually the PAC switch lite up at each press of the buttons. I can probably use that as a signal for output.
