step bars/nerff bars

I found a 95or96 x at the junk yard and it still had the nerff bars or what ever thay are called stock.
any way i was wondering if i could fit thes on my 92 i dont mind drilling or welding


ooo and by the way what makes the differace in the ones that fit mine and thows.

thay are for a 4dr but so you remamber i am in alaska shiping is out the yang for any thing to come or go out .




thay were black but if i can mount them i was wanting to fit them any way thay have lots of x's at the junk yards here its cool its becouse most people drive like we tallds and so that makes lots of goods for me cheap. got to go lats man

If not a direct bolt on they should be easy to mod and make fit. There is nothing to them.

Hmmm yet another Alaskan with an Explorer. Hey what yard do you go to? I've heard that Northwest is good but I have no idea where it is. I work in Anchorage but live in the Valley so I frequent the wrecking yards there.

I think you can easily get the nerf bars to fit. I was looking at getting a set off a 99. I was told that a portion on the bar actually bolts to a section of the rocker panel. I would think that as long as you can bolt it to the frame you're good.

I went to ATW it had a lot of stuff the neffs that i found where still on the x so thay may even have some all ready taken off im just cheeeeeep i will try to get them as soon as i get payed i ran out of money sooner then i thought that i would . thanks
