check all the fuses in the box just in case....then take the deck out and inspect the wiring

wiring probably burned up and i know with my 91 the radio is powered by 2 fuses

Im in a similar boat, lastnight came home and the radio worked great, but then this morning, there was no power. I figured it might be the fuse, but they all looked ok, even the one on the back of the headunit. I just installed a sub and amp, but if the amp and sub werent working, the stereo should still work normally. Anyone have any ideas, the wiring still looks ok in the back. Thanks

Dan

all radios (except the old shaft-knobers) use a constant 12V, ignition switched 12V and ground. without those three it won't work properly. i've seen some that will power on with just the switched and ground but won't retain the proper time or presets; that's the purpose of the constant. therefore the vehicle actually has two fuses powering the radio. get a digital multimeter and check all the fuses or use the multimeter behind the radio to check the power(s) and also ground if needed.
