i hooked up my friends system today....and added a capacitor, the capacitor is a 1 Farad bolt series lightning audio, the amp is a hifonics 1000D, stock head unit and the whole system uses 4 gauge wiring....the subs are audiobahns wired for a 1 Ohm load, and we used a line converter for the RCA's....the capacitor is grounded to the same spot as the amp and when one of the RCA lines are unplugged from the amp the subs get louder, they hit way harder.....but then turn it up too loud and the capacitor all of a sudden discharges or something and starts to beep....then the system turns off and the capacitors voltage goes up again......what could be the problem?
