Sterio only works with key in Acc Pos. ?

What happened? I got in the truck today and the sterio did not work. I checked fuses and there OK. With the door open, I put the key in ACC position and it worked. However when the bell stopped chiming the power went out to the Radio and the dome lights and map lights? Any ideas? I'm going crazy chasing this. HELP!!!!!!

Driving is better with music.

Is this a factory system or an after market replacement? If is factory, I haven't a clue. If it's after market, you might want to check the routing of your wiring. You may have wired into something you shouldn't have. Give me some info and I will see what I can come up with.

Well, It's an aftermarket. But the Waring Harness is a kit from Crutchfields. So I think the wiring should be " OK " where it's at.

I broke down and took it to the dealer today after chasing this for a week.

Problem fixed, " Blown Fuse " , I don't really buy it since it would work in ACC POS. I changed the Ignition Switch last night and maybe I blew the fuse during that process. Anyway, they said blown fuse.

At least my radio is back...And CD's...And Sub....
