Any idea's regarding a sticky oil pressure gauge?

Symptons: 40-50 degrees overnight (worse when colder).

Engine starts, but RPM rises and falls (almost stalls). If I try to give it gas and reve up engine, RPM drops and truck stalls. If I leave it alone it will reve up and down for a minute or two (mean while - oil pressure (OPG) sticks at eccentially zero). Once the RPMs level off, then I can drive, but it still takes several minutes for the OPG to move. It wiggles and if I drive it will will eventually go to a normal setting. Is this related to OPG, engine idle or a fuel system problem. I have tried to run a can of Seafoam through it, but don't notice anything in the morning. Warmer weather in the morning (summer/spring) no problems.

Intake gaskets are causing the running problem and oil pressure sending unit is the oil pressure gauge problem.

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the stock 95-01 section. A test gauge could be used to check the oil pressure. Disconnect the sending unit, and screw in the test gauge. Compare your results with the gauge in the vehicle.
