Stiff Gas Pedal???

Does anyone else notice the gas pedal to be quite a bit stiffer than in other vehicles? It has been this way as long as I have owned the vehicle and have just never done anything about it.

BTW: Mine is an 02' Eddie Bauer 4x4 with the V6

Welcome to this forum! You could put a different return spring on the throttle body.

mine was like this as well, i used fliud film at all pivots and that did not seem to work. a week later i was going to use Seafoam through my intake and noticed that my butterfly was gummed up around when it was shut, i used the SF and a qtip to clean it up and then used up the seafoam through the intake while running.now it is very smooth, with no sticking or hesitating.
worth a look.
