Stiff Gas Pedal

Hey everyone,

So recently I have been noticing in my 02 that the gas pedal is pretty stiff.
I is nothing like my mom had in her 03 where you could tell it wasn't stiff at all? Is there a reason behind that or is it fixable? My dad and I tried to clean the valve body and everything but it hasn't changed.

Yah my 96 pedal is pretty stiff as well.

My 05 is electronic, not sure about 03. Could be the cable or throttle plate on yours needs lubrication.
