:rangertan: well, this is what, I still don't know. Here I was asked to go out on the highway and bring it up to speed (80 kms) around here on these roads and put in the clutch and let it coast for about 30 seconds and see what happends with the rpm, it ran around 3000. and then I tried the same thing but this time with it in neutreal and with the clutch out, the same rpms.
only when the truck comes to a complete stop will the rpm's come down to 1000.
Now, this also, if i let the truck start coasting from a complete stop with it in neutreal and the clutch out the rpm's will clime up to 3000 after the truck picks up speed at about 3 km's. The same with the truck in gear and the clutch pressed in. Any help or info on this would wonderfull.
...........Thanks Ron
