my 03 mounty has an amp and a 12 inch sub.. the only problem with leaving the stock radio is that the sound is not as customizable.. so you will never really get the full potential out of the sub.
the sub is an oold sub from a family members car so its not that high quality but it still shakes your chest in the car... buuuut, due to the mountys soundproofing for its luxury...ness..... it isnt heard outside other than a rattling license plate and shaking exterior mirrors.

I got a stock HU out of an '06+ explorer with 6cd MP3 changer.
I tried to keep the interior as stock looking as possible to avoid theft.
What do we need to do about the mirrors? mine are shaking themselves loose
