Stock amp questions..

Have a couple, does the eddie bauer edition have a better one? If I were to want to switch them, would it be in the same place I yanked the one off of an eddie bauer? both trucks are 96. Doing this with an aftermarket HU already installed, is it worth it?

Good question, I'm not positive.. I would think the normal amp for the speakers would be the same.. If it's the JBL system with a sub that has 2 amps, the 1 for the speakers may be a little more powerful, definitely not by much tho.. The speaker amp for that year range is 20w RMS per channel, which isn't bad, it's actually more powerful than most aftermarket decks.. The aftermarket decks will be advertised as 40-50w per channel, but if you look at the fine print the RMS is usually 16-18w per channel, with newer expensive ones being in the low 20's..
