stock cd player not ejecting

Anyone have any ideas for a fix...my cd player grudgingly accepts cd's (won't really pull them in) and doesn't eject them...there is a bit of clicking...not really grinding and then the error messgae comes up that there is an eject error (shocker!) Anyway, I am still under extended warranty but I was hoping to avoid the 100$ deductable if there is a solution that i can "do" myself.

Unfortunately, it sounds mechanical and I dont know of an easy fix. If it were me, I would take the $100 for the deductable, add about $70-$80 and get a decent aftermarket unit.
