I have a '98 with the regular cd player/radio. I live in a very dusty area, and noticed that the cd's were starting to sound a lot like cassette tapes. So I tried to use one of those cd player cleaners with the brushes, but it wouldn't work right. So I returned it, but now when I try to play a cd, it won't play anything. I can hear it spinning around, but no sound. Has anyone ever heard of this? The only thing I can think of is that it screwed up the laser lens.
