Stock chome 17" Limited wheels

I've heard from several different people about having a problem with the stock chrome 3rd Gen Limited wheels peeling. Well, I have this problem too, only on the passenger side though.

Some people have had mixed reactions from the dealerships. Some people were able to get them warrantied, and others have not. I took my truck in today because I have all of the common 3rd gen problems (A/C doesn't work, airbag code) and I had them look at the wheels. I just got a call a few minutes ago that my wheels were approved to be replaced with new ones.

Just thought I'd post my experience in case anyone has a similar problem.

It's garbage they wouldn't replace some peoples wheels. If they knew that they were all coming back shotty, why can they single one person out and say, no we won't replace those. I didn't know the a/c was going out on them either.

Wow!! well at least you were one of the lucky ones that got them replaced, of course they are the same wheels? right? well good luck with the new ones.

Yea same ones...I wasn't that worried about them replacing the wheels, I plan on getting 20's instead and I was going to use the stocks for winter. I figured that if I could get them to replace them it would be cool though.

Well..got my truck yesterday...Brand new wheels. If anyone else has a problem with their wheels peeling, I suggest taking them in and trying to get them replaced.
