Anyone know. After my work, the shop said I had 5% loss in 4 cyl and 7% in 2. What does this mean?

What is the stock (ideal) compression?

Thanks

check your owners manul, it says somewhere towards the back. Off the top of my head I wanna say 9.7:1

In a compression test I dont think I have ever seen two cylinders have the same compression readings (other than a new engine). If any cylinder is significantly lower than something is wrong. A leak somewhere (like a gasket) or maybe a deformity in the piston.
