eddie bauer 98 fenders flares and running boars on a stock 96 4 doors?

HELLO guys.
i need some help here, couse I need to know if the flares and running boards (eddie bauers) fron a 98 ''X'' will fit in a 96 explorer 4 doors. I'm not shure of that.
I have already the stock running boars but if i need to take it of I'll do it and put the eddie b. runnings. but i need to be shure.
so please let me know about it.

I don't see why it would be a problem; its the same truck except for the tailgate, and that has nothing to do with flares/running boards.
