Hi,
I believe that my foglamp lens are cracked because I have condensation in my passenger side fog light. The bulb inside it exploded to pieces. So, where can I find a new lens and bulbs. The whole thing including the housing and bracket costs $70 at the dealer and the bulb itselfs costs $25.

I have tried local parts store and they don't carry it.

Thanks,
Shane

At that price, I decided to change my lamps for a set at Autozone for $40. They work much better, and the replacement bulbs and lamps are much better. Also, they were dichroic yellow, which is easier for vision when driving in fog or severe weather.

The stock lamps are Hellas I believe anyway.

Try dropping Torrie at Ford Parts Network a line and see what he can do for ya.

Keep us updated because one of mine is all messed up too.

I did contact Torrie about the foglamp lens. Unfortunately, Ford sells the whole assembly. I just replaced the whole thing last winter on the driver's side. Now, the passenger side is having problems. I guess, I'll have to find one at the junkyard or get a new set like Jeffrey said.

Thanks,
Shane

Thanks, but not the right one

Hi,
I have tried Hella, but they don't have the lens for the OEM foglamp housing. Thanks anyway.

Anyone know if you can just change out the stock bulbs in the fog lights for some PIAA Superwhites?

If so, what type of bulb is in there? H3? H4? What wattage?

PIAA does not make bulbs to fit the stock Ford fog lights. The bulbs are 899 and nothing PIAA makes will fit. Sorry! Did the 98 still have the rectangular fog lights?? If so, you could step up to a pair of PIAA 1500XTs. They fit in the stock loaction. Check out the PIAA Group Purchase thread and read. There is plenty of good lighting info there, as well as the opportunity to buy at low prices through mattadams.
