Still have the stock head unit in my 2001. It's just the normal in-dash CD/casette stereo and not premium sound. The other day a CD started skipping while playing. I figure it may be the CD so I put another in. Same problem. Every CD I put in the radio skips now. So I want to know if it's safe to put a lense cleaner CD (the one with the little brushes on it) in the head unit? I want to make sure it just doesn't need to be cleaned before I rationalize buying another head. Any help is much appreciated!
