Me and my friends were up at Reiter Pit on friday. My friend Jesse has a stock '89 Jeep cherokee(sp?), anyways, he followed a highly modified jeep wrangler over this hill into a trail he really wasn't prepared for. He just drove right into this puddle(the other jeep went the other way) assuming it was ok. Then poof, he's stuck. I followed behind more slowly because I only have 2WD right now, and I found him and all my friends standing on the bank trying to figure out what to do. The puddle was waist deep with water and about a foot of mud. It ended up taking about 2 hours to get him out, and a friend of mine with a toyota just happened to be up there. It just needed to be jumped, and then the thing started right up, and he drove away. His air box was about an inch from the water, on the driver's side. He was too lucky. :D

Ouch, I got stuck in waist deep water once, that suuuuurreee did suck.

That's awesome! Good thing he didn't suck any of that murky water up into the ol engine

That's hilarious, I can't believe someone would try that with a stocker, especially with street tires!

but remember, jeeps are trailrated! they even have a little emblem to prove it!

Did he get crap all in his interior? Time to change front/rear diff fluid, and check the tranny/tcase fluids

Dont forget headlight and blinker fluid!

All his seats were covered in water, but I don't think the interior was the greatest to begin with.
And I told him to change all those things, but I don't know if he listened to me or not. His loss, I just hope he learned something from this, but probably not.

its a jeep, wutd u expect?

Ha, not the smartest one in the bunch...

"Its A Jeep Oh Well " sounds like something my friend would day and see what else he could mess up and not care
