Stock Rims and 32" BFG M/Ts on 96' X?

Is is possible to put 32" BFG M/Ts on my 96' X 5.0? If not, what size would I need to get?

I am not an expert but with out any lift I dont think it will fit. If it does fit then it will rub. As far as the wheels go I think I have seen some with 32's on stock wheels.

You'll need at least 2" of suspension lift, and possibly a body lift or substantial trimming also.

So, if a do a t/t and Warrior 153 shackles a may be able to pull it off? Also, will the 32" tires fit on my stock rims?

They'll fit on your stock rims. They may fit with just the TT/shackles, but I doubt it without some semi-serious trimming. The rear won't be a problem, it will be the front.

I had 32 BFG MTs on my '96 X 5.0 with just TT and shackles and they rubbed like hell. I had to do a body lift. They say.. every Explorer is different. But since we have the same year, model, and engine.. I'm sure we'd be in the same boat.
