get a wiring harness that converts the plug into rca's and a remote turn on. i know metra, scosche, and american international all make it. it comes with the main wire harness that you will need to install the head unit anyway.

or hardwire, use the connector with 3 wires for the sub, cant remember the colors, but you will need a resistor? i think or the sub will pop everytime you turn it on. run the new memory wire to the battery, and use a voltometer to find the power on lead, this allowed me to keep the radio on until you open the door like the factory, which my installer for my old truck was unable to do. i also use a aa battery to locate speakers, and determine the position. if you want i can look at mine and tell you all the colors
they MIGHT be the same from an 02 and an 03

If you could look that would be helpful. I use to install radios in cars for my job a while back... but i cant figure this out. If you have pictures of it that would be great too!! I'm a bit confused on what im doing with the sub wires, where do i hook them up into the JVC harness?
