Please help me trouble shoot this. I am getting power to the sub amp and there is power for the remote turn on lead. Is there any way to check for input signal? The sub is OK.

BTW... the entire system is stock...

Also, does anyone know where to get those plugs that hold the panel in place? Ford doesn't sell the red ones anymore.

Thanks

Take the sub out of the enclosure and make sure the leads going to the voice coil are good. As far as the plugs, if Ford doesnt sell red ones anymore, you might have to paint some red...

Update...

OK, I replaced the amp with a Sony unit. Still didn't work. The 2 channel amp is now my culprit. No signal from it. The Sub measures 8ohms so that seem OK.

I took the 2 channel appart. It looks like a couple leads vibrated off. If you ask me, this JBL amp is very poor construction...

do a continuity test on the speaker make sure that works.
