My 95 Explorer 4.0 OHV makes this weird noise at idle. If I pull the black thing off the IAC valve it stops. I cleaned that thing but it still makes the noise. Can I just chuck that black piece and put a piece of plastic hose and an inline fuel filter on the IAC valve to filter the air going through it?
