Strange light from my JVC KD-SH99

After using my new JVC KD-SH99 for a few days, I notice at night, with the face plate turned at any of the angle positiond, there is a light comming from the CD slot are that is rather annoying.

Anyone else notice this? It disappears when the face is in the retracted ( flat ) position.

Is there any way to get rif of it?
