Havent seen the write up yet, but I took my car in this morning, to get my rear window wiper which works intermittently, fixed, as well as a weird loud humming sound that is intermittent when I go around some long bends. Anyways dealer is just going to replace the wiper motor and be done with it, although I was hoping for a little trouble shooting, but ok? It works if I`m driving and it just starts to rain, or if its dry out, otherwise if its been raining for a while it doesnt work. Thinking maybe water is getting in? And the noise they think is caused by a bad caliper. The front left caliper is dragging, so they are replacing that and the pads on that side along with the hose. My only complaint is they didnt have any loaner cars left, so I had to get a rental. 10.00 a day for their contract rate with the rental company. Only crappy part is I can only get a ford lincoln or mercury. Which they are out of. They are trying to get on transferred from another center. But all in all I cant complain. Was expecting to spend somewhere in the neighborhood of 100-220 for brake service, and will spend maybe 20 bucks. I love my mercury dealer. Still got 2600 miles left on my 3yr 36k warranty.
