Well today I went to handle some business a few hour away. I went on the highway about 1hour and half one way. I got there did what I had to do and was going back home. All of a sudden my X started strangle rumbling and vibration sound/feeling. It eventually got longer. It gets longer when I am going faster. You can also feel the vibration in the pedals as well.
I was thinking it was maybe a hole in the exhaust...? Is there way to check? I was reading somewhere online where it said that you can test it by feeling how much air is coming from your tailpipe would this work?
Also my last X got a hole in the exhaust while I was driving it and i heard a loud hissing sound, but I didn't hear it with this one? And also on start up I could tell because it would sound very different. The start up on this one sound the same and only hear it when you give it gas. I do hear a slight hiss when turning off the vehicle.
it sounds like a diesel truck going on down the road.
Could it be the motor mount?
