i know a couple of people have them here on the sight. can't think of hteir names right now though. they should be fairly easy to find online. the only drawback is if you go that route you can't get anything for the opening in the bumper. which isn't as big of a drawback on your newer truck, but might be a reason to look for a good billet grille instead? i'm sure that someone who actually has one will find this thread eventually and chime in

espnfreak has one

I have one on my '96. I bought it from this site.. Street Scene.com

Click "Lets Go Shopping" on the left side of the screen and then you should be able to find them. I think I know of a site with better prices but I don't have time to find it now...I'll find it later on this morning and let you know.

At the site I posted above the cost for the 2000 XLT Speed Grille is $138.95.... at this site Automotive Accessories the same grille is only $109.95. That's the cheapest I can find right now but I'll keep looking.

They also make a Bumper insert for you truck which is $68.90 (at Automotive Accessories) I wish they made a bumper insert for my truck.

Wow...just found another - Dead Link Removed $87 for the main grille or $114 for BOTH!! That site also says they now make chrome speed grilles...I guess they don;t make them for our models yet since they didn't have it listed as an option.

I used stainless gutter cap from ace hardware it cost me $8.50 and about an hour I got the idea from
http://www.mysporttrac.com and click on projects on the left side then homemade speed grille. I did mine a little different I put it where the cheap plastic stock mesh is between the grille and the radiator. also put some down on the center bumper hole. It look awsome and original I've gotten lots of complements on it and have even had people ask me where I bought it, I get funny looks when I tell them what it is....

aiite koo thanx guys...i'll check those out right now...

one more question...for the grilles...do i have to keep the stock grille to use the street scene inserts or can i change the grille so there is no FORD emblem and those stock lines...don't know if i make myself clear...like CDexplorer...yooh just have the inserts correct? how can i change the grille also so it looks cleaner...and if i do make myself clear can i also buy the new grille and the street scene inserts...

hay expo5.0 on your billet grille can yooh replace those aluminum lines with the street scene grille insert? thats what im wondering if i can have my front grille like that...

heres what i think, you should get a regular billet grille and bumper insert like mine, then you should go to a hardware store and get some stainless mesh and before you install the inserts just back them with the mesh. if you look at my pics carefully you can see that i used some stainless mesh below my bumper to fill up some space in my air dam. i would have done exactly what i am suggesting for you to do, but i just don't want to go through the work of taking it apart and figuring out how to do it at this point. it would also probably negate the cool effect of the lumi logo i have installed behind my grille (you can also see that in the pictures) and you might want to try that as well. whatever you try to do keep us informed
