Whats the main purpose of running them? If its just for fun then I don't recommend doing it especially if you have yearly vehicle inspections. There are sites out there that strobe kits. If your just getting them for no good reason and you get caught using the strobes you can face numerous charges including impersonating a LEO, unapproved lights, etc.
I suggest only getting white for off-road.
Once you see prices for any decent strobes you will most likely change your mind.
I had to get strobes for construction sites for work and believe me, it was painful to hit "checkout" lol.
I talked to a local cop one time and he said they take the "Impersonating a LEO" very seriously... Although the odd monster truck and car at the track is rocking the cherries so maybe in the bush not such a big deal?
Yea impersonating bad. I've actually driven demostration cars for my previous job. The police never had a issue but I knew not to use them on the highway. I did however have a cop who saw all the stuff inside the P71 and was curious but once I gave him a business card he figured out why. lol
I got a real problem giving anyone info on putting Cop impersonating lights on their veh.
My wife was "pulled over" by an Asshat using strobes, Luckily she was only laughed at by the kids.
So, I would request that if you want cop type stuff then go see a cop.
