I'm looking to lift my 07' explorer, and after finding that the Rancho quicklifts are all but extinct I'm looking towards strut spacers.

I'm looking for 2" front and 1" rear, but I can't seem to find that anywhere so it looks like I'll be probably getting 1.5" front and 1" rear if I can find it or 2.5" front 1.5" rear.
That being said, I can't really afford the BTF upper control arms at the moment, so my question is, will my stock ball joints be able to survive a more mild lift in the front like I am looking for? or will they be wrecked very soon?
I am also open to the idea of replacing the upper control arms with new OEM parts if that would help matters.

Thank you guys in advance.

It took me almost 8 months and a bonus check to gather all the parts: 3"/2" leveling kit, kyb quikstruts, and the BTF UCAs. It was worth the wait, I love the stance. Doesn't answer your question but if you can be patient and gather the parts, it's worth it.

Ive ruined my fresh new stock control arms balljoints during approx. 6 months.

Now running on BTF arms and 2.5 inch lift.
