Model: 'premium' 1991 AM/FM/Cassette
Problem: cassette receiver is stuck and will not accept a cassette.
btw, there is no tape in there - I bought the X this way.
I will eventually replace the stock stereo with an Mp3 CD player but with the racing season just starting (GP bikes, not the X) I have other fish to fry.
Has anyone tried to fix a grumpy first generation tape deck? Is there a trick to getting it to move?
I still have some home-made cassettes around somewhere; I could use those until I have time to find the right Mp3/CD stereo.
