Stuck door

I have a 97' Explorer lmt
The drivers side rear door will not open. I have taken the door panel off
and still connot get it to open. I have moved the child safety latch back and forth still no luck.

The latch is broken inside. I had same problem - finally had to pay Ford $200 to get door opened and install reused latch from JY. My hands are too big to get inside easily; still don't know how they got latch to finally trip and open door.
