I thought these little sensors are supposed to just pop out after removing the 3/8 bolt ? I have the spare tire , tire hanger and fiberglass spar tire shield removed from the truck . I just put a cat-back new exhaust from Napa on the truck. The abs light is on while driving. It pops on after starting to drive the truck. So before I go the the store again for new emergency brake cables I want to take the sensor along to make sure I get the right one . Now the damn thing just moves side to side but wont pull out. I found the red tab that looks like it holds the wiring harness plug on to the sensor and that pulled out of the plug, but the plug does not pull away from the sensor.
Is there a trick to getting this stuck sensor out?
