I have one friend of mine who says my '92 XLT that I just bought will spit out 2 digit codes and another telling me 3 digit codes. I haven't bought a scanner yet, and I need these two clowns to quit arguing. Anybody?

92 should have the three digit codes so you will need a three digit paper clip. The first edition of the Haynes said it was a 2 digit code but my 92 built in 91 was three digit.

Thank You. The explorer I just got is a '92, and the door tag says '91. It has a ton of miles, (167,000) anything special I should be careful of? The guy gave me a receipt for the MAF, fuel pump, starter, and power steering pump. I understand the lower intake bolts are prone to working loose. True?

True. As long as the gasket itself if good, you'll just want to periodically tighten those bolts to spec.

Oh there is a lot more than one around here
:D

Yeah, the longer I'm here, the more of that I'm gathering. Fortunately for me, everybody seems to know what they are talking about, and they aren't afraid to help out. Thank you all. :p
