Thanks All for help with dead fuel gauge! (it's still dead) The latest *thing* with my Exploder is it only runs on 4 or 5 cylinders for the first 2 minutes after starting *if* truck has not run in 24 hours. Was thinking coolant may be oozing into a cylinder or two, but truck is maintaining coolant level. Could the 2 minute miss be related to gas gauge/fuel pump assembly in anyway??

Possibly fuel pressure? Start with the basics, when was the last tune up? What's the compression like? Any codes, vacuum leaks?
