Sub box size

How do you figure what size box you need for ported and how big to make the port. I been googleing and only found for closed others for port but not what size to make the port. I bet it right in front of my face i jsut dont know what all the terms mean.

Hear ar the spec on my sup I have no idea what they all mean tho.

it is all install and driver dependent.

What brand sub is this?? What are you expecting from the sub stage??

My amp right now sucks but im getting a new one soon. Its a 1000 watt sony exploed. The sup i have is a 2000 watt audiopipe 15. It is ok now but i just wanted to know if it could be a lot better if i had the wrong box. more so since my box is ported. hear is a MS paint of my box.

I have a nice design for a single 15 inch sub. It takes up most of the cargo space though...really efficient enclosure also.

Also your sub is probably only 1000 watt power handling. Your amp is probably 400 watts rms. Peak numbers count for nothing. They are made up figures

3.5 at 32 hz should slam and sound pretty good.
