OK so the people who owned my truck before me where some very sick sick disgusting people and my truck showed it. I am in the process of cleaning it up now and found there is old soda all over and in the sub enclosure so I was wanting to know is there a way to just take the panel circled in the pic below off with out taking apart the whole side of the truck.

I tried popping it off with a screwdriver and it did not want to come off all the way so I looked online and everything I have found is telling me I have to take the whole side panel off.

If you get your panel out, I would sure enjoy pictures of your removal process.:D

After taking the cup holder out and looking around more I don't think it comes off by its self. :-(

nope its all one piece. Whole panel, its not hard either. look for post about getting your Keyless door code great post with lot of pics. in addition the panel above it comes off, bottom sill, maybe the top piece. Once you get everything out of the way it will lift up then out at the top.

after looking at my wife's Monty, pop the rear most upper trim off, Unscrew the upper seat belt bolt @ the 2nd row seats. I also noticed that the 2nd row seatbelts might go through the bottom of the lower side you want free.

I can tell you my 2001 Monty had the factory sub & the way the clips are mounted in a deep channel, you would destroy the cosmetics of the panel forcing the sub grill out. I am betting that Ford did the same later in the 3rd gen.
