sub woofer removal

i blew out the stock sub on my 91 ford explorer and i cant figgure out hor to get to the sub/amp/wiring... i want to just unhook it for now bc it sounds like **** and i cant play any music with bass with out sending chills down my spine... how can i just unhook this sub until i have money for a real system? thanks

Welcome to the boards!!

If you just want to unhook it, just pry out the metal mesh grill, NOT the plastic panel around the grill, and take the sub speaker out then unhook it.
