Was wondering any suggestions on brand or kind of lights to make them brighter. We've accidentally left our hi-beams on with on coming traffic and seems not to bother them. I don't think we automatic hi-low headlamps. Would be nicer to get a brighter light. Thanks in advance!

I use PIAA Extreme White--they are bright==brightest I could find which are still Halogen.

Purchased a set of LED headlights for my Explorer from led car light manufacturer. Lights have the driver and a connector that fits into the existing wire harness. Lumen rating was 3200 for the LED bulbs vs about 1800 lumen for original halogen bulbs.
Results are better lighting, whiter lighting, as well as better lighting on the sides of the vehicle. Distance of lighting is better also.
