Was just looking around on ebay at A4LDs and found this "special" A4LD tranny. Seller states that it's built with a "Master Kit" and a "shift correction package". This sound like it's actually a better tranny than a stock A4LD tranny? I'm not too knowledgable with trannys so I'm askin you guys...

there were some companies that offered kits to improve them, and they were good... but if its some ungodly amount of moey or something forget it... the a4ld actually stands for automatic 4 speed light duty....... they were never a strong platform to begin with....... however, ford also had several releases of it too.... the 94 were the best becuase they incorporated better parts and upgrades....... then the secon gens actually used an electronically controlled a4ld, just it was then refered to by a different name...
