This weekend I successfully mounted a 6-Channel MA Audio MI1686i amp behind the back passenger panel. It was a stretch because the darn thing is 22" long. I had to make a few metal brackets to hold it in place, but no big deal. Oh ya, I also mounted a sat radio tuner too. But now I have 4x100 to the doors (Audiobahn ACX680P plates and 2x200 (Then bridged to 1x600) running to two alpine 10" type R's. I'm just waiting on my new 2003 model Kenwood headunit. Thanks for all your help guys and answering all my questions. I'll let you know if it all works! -Will

Yeah man... Pretty suite how you can hide amps back there isn't it? I did the same thing in my X. I have my sony and my rockford mounted back there.

join the club-i got my 1500.1 and cap on the 60% side and my 800.4 highs amp on the 40% side!

lol, my DEI 500 75x4@4ohm is also back there, lol

RCA's

Where and how did you run the RCA cables up to the head unit? I was going to mount my amp back there also but thought it would be a pain to run the RCA cables.

um... just buy 5 meter RCA cables, it's not that far really, and go under the plastic around the rear seats.

right now my sub amp has longer RCAs than the 4 channel.

You mean in the cargo area behind the trim panel ?

That is a great idea.

no (at least i dont think thats what these guys are talking about.)

mines mounted behind the interior panel on the passenger side, right in front of the "cargo pocket" - i have a stealth box where the "pocket" used to be.

that's the area I'm talking about, and I'm pretty sure the others are too

Okay, so it is somewhere back there.
