Superchargers

I have a 2001 Explorer swapped Ranger. Does anyone (Vortech, Procharger,Paxton) manufacture a supercharger kit for an explorer that
I can install into my Ranger? I've done some internet searching and have
not found one. I want a centrifugal type blower. I did see some roots/TVS
blowers, but not interested in that.
Also, is a tune necessary for performance upgrades on these vehicles. For example, a Fox Body Mustang can have bolt ons installed fairly easily without
upsetting the parameters of the factory ECM (although a dyno tune helps).
94 and newer Mustangs pretty much have to have a tune to keep the ECM
from freaking out and making the car do funny things. Any guidance with these subjects is greatly appreciated!

there used to be a powerdyne kit made for the 5L explorer. they are rare as well. they too are hard to come by (i know one member that has one in PA, but you would have to pry it from her cold dead hands).
to bad you dont want a roots style. i have a explorer express m90 kit that i have for sale.
as for tuning, it would be a smart idea to do one, but i dont think its necessary if you use a stock kit on a stock motor

It's not clear (to me, at least) what engine you swapped in. 4.0 OHV, 4.0SOHC, or 5.0? That info may help with answers...

Try prochargers they can make custom kits if needed and they make setups that work on stock applications with no tune. They also gerente there stuff full money back.
