superrunner steering

Im trying to install my superrunner steering kit. There are 2 tranny lines in the way. For those who have installed the superrunner kit. How or what did you do to move these tranny lines

a little bit of gentle bending and some old hoses placed over the cooler lines where they may come in contact with metal.
