I have a '99 sport and i'm having so many problems that i'm almost at the point of trading it in. To begin with, I did the torsion/block-flip 2" drop and added 22s with 285-35 series tires and now i can hardly keep it on the road. If i hit a bad spot in the highway it throws my whole truck sideways. Is this a common problem for these mods or something worse? Also, I had the p1401 problem and replaced the differential pressure...and hoses. Everything was fine. Now its throwing a p0401 and not reading a temp on the gauge at all. I changed the coolant temp sensor and egr and it did nothing. any help would be GREATLY appreciated

That was your first mistake. J/K :D

OK, I am unfamiliar with this kit, but I would like to help if I can.

Im used to lifting, not lowering

Clue me in to what all is involved (basic overview) in this kit.

Could be alot of things and this will give me a place to start. :salute:

I have had that same issue with mine so any help here would be hot, Yall.

Its not running funny at all, but it keeps calling out my BRAND NEW EGR...

I cleaned out the ports and everything....

Just cranking down the torsion bars and putting the factory spring- spacers above the leaf instead of below it

Now that you mention that i have noticed a little sag in the left rear. could that really be my only poblem?

before i replaced my rear shocks my ex would kick its a** out over any hard bump. If they have alot of miles and are the factory shocks id replace them for sure.

And the sag in the rear is probably the mono-leaf sagging. Have you swapped your leaf pack to a 4door one yet?

sounds about right to me. you take alot of impact dampening out of the suspension with tires like that. :D

sorry about leaving yall like that. i lost connection and i have a broken leg right now so... anyways, i never would have thought about the shocks making it do that. i was thinking much worse. would also that cause a wobble when i make a left turn from a stop sign/light

4x2. any ideas on the egr insufficient flow problem?

i understand that, but i have changed my egr, diff pressure sensor(and hoses), and i cleaned my egr lines. it's not reading a temp and i changed my coolant temp sensor twice, even though it only threw that code once. its driving me nuts. it only has 70000 miles on it

There are two coolant temp sensors. Maybe you changed the wrong one? One is for the cluster gauge, and the other is for the PCM.

get the alignment checked, if thats ok are any front shocks leaking fluid, if thats fine how sharp is the angle from the rack and pinion to the spindles? If the outer ends of the tie-rods are bent up like broken wings you are having "bump steer"<----adding Bilstein 4WD shocks on the front might help the suspsension compressing and a larger front antisway bar. If its none of that your wheels are just too damn big and follow every rut on the road :), toss on a narrower rim and tire to see if gets better
