hey guys, i've just bought a '98 explorer and i want to lower the suspension. i know most people like to give their rides a lift but mine is strictly for street use only. this is probably a question that gets asked all the time but i'm new to the board so plz don't get annoyed. i live in england so a d.i.y solution would be cool.

Lowering is fairly simple. All you do is crank the torsion bars up front and put lowering blocks in the back. You will need an alignment after that. It might be more difficult for you to find the blocks since you're overseas. For more detail on how to do everything, check out the "Going for the gusto" thread in the Sport Trucks forum.
