Hey guys its me again, if you havnt noticed yet Ive been posting alot of questions etc cuz Im hookin up my X alot from stock and hopefully I should have pics up soon! Anyhow I wanted some advice on suspension work because I want to get Cobra R's. It seems like most people with Explorers that have them got the 17''s and is there any reason for this like do the 18''s have problems or downsides? Also, Im definately not interested in a low rider or somethin but a better handling and performing Explorer with a minimal drop. I think that 2 inches or just a tad less looks really good especially with those rims but I dont know what kit or components to get. I really dont want to get the X Spec Suspension kit from Explorer Express cuz its like 900 dollars!!! Please help me here guys!

Heh just get 2" lowering blocks from autozone and twist your torsion bars down about 1.5" and get an alignment. That's it!

Also, I forgot to mention to ask your opinions about getting 18'' Cobra Rs... does anybody have pics with Explorers with those particular rims out there? Like I said it seems like most everybody gets the 17''s and that makes me skeptical of the 18''s and I definately dont want a really rough ride or anything although if there is nothing wrong with 18''s and they will look real good and ride pretty good then I might go with the bigger ones maybe.
