suspension lifts

I am trying to decide whether to put on the trailmaster 4" or superlift 6" on my 98 eb explorer. they have been quoted to be about the same price. Is there still that trailmaster factory rebate thing still going on for members? Also, my explorer is all wheel drive and i have been told that by adding a suspension lift, i will have to put in a new drive shaft as well. Is there any truth in this and how hard is it to install myself?

First of all, I didnt think superlift came out with a 6" one for late model explorers, only 4". I think the general agreement around here is to go with the superlift. And yes you will have to get a new front driveshaft. Or you could wait for the RCD c/o kit to come out who knows when.

on a 95+ you can make the superlift or trailmaster lift 5.5" just do a soa with the stock springs and do a TT with the lift up front and voila 5.5" lift. good luck
