suspension noise

I have a 99 XLT, explorer with 90k about a year ago i replaced all the ball joints ( broken grease seals) the truck ran fine until recently, while going over minor bumps or uneven road the front suspension feels rough (feel all the bumps) the ride is great and smooth on even smooth highway roads. There is no clunking or clicking noises. I've checked underneath nothing is loose, leaking or broken not sure what it could be.

Probably just time to think about new shocks, as long as everything is tight. My 99 was very rough over bumps - new shocks took care of it. Used the Monroe Sensatracs, which I liked.
